Server and payment questions
What is the refund policy on a server?
A server is rented for a term paid up front, so its policy differs from shared hosting: within 14 days you are refunded your subscription less one month and less any setup or migration work done for you; after that the remainder of the term is not refunded, monthly or yearly. Cancelling before renewal is free, at any time. The detail is in the refund policy.
What do you run, and what do I run?
The server is ours: provisioning and hardening, the firewall, system updates, certificates, monitoring and backups. Your project is yours — your code, your application and whatever you deploy on it. You get full root, so tell us if you change the system configuration and we can keep maintaining it.
What exactly gets backed up?
The whole server: your applications, their configuration and their stored data, with the databases dumped consistently before each copy. It is kept off the server on our own storage, where no other server can reach it and nothing on yours can delete it — even if it is compromised. And a snapshot is not a backup: it lives on the server’s own disk and goes down with it.
Is there a limit on data transfer?
No monthly quota, no overage fee and no cut-off at a number. Sustained use at the port’s full rate may be rate-limited for a while until it settles, and that is all that happens — no extra invoice and no interruption.
How soon do I get the server after ordering?
We build it once your transfer is confirmed, within one working day. Message us with the plan you want, we send you the amount and how to pay, and after the transfer you get the address and your panel login.
